Five Top Transfer Targets In Europe

Most top European clubs are expected to strengthen their clubs as the new season draws near.
And as usual, the battle to bolster their squads with new players is nearing its peak as the clubs prepare to go for pre-season trainings on foreign soils.
We brings you the players that are hot on the radar of the top European clubs:
5) Nicolas Otamendi
The Manchester United target dropped a hint of his exit from Valencia when he recently tweeted a photo of himself with Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria, although he would later play down the rumours associated to his action.

The powerful centre-back, who had a superb campaign with Valencia, scored six times and organised a defence which helped secure fourth place in La Liga and Champions League football next season.
Otamendi, 27, is a top target of Manchester United in the EPL and with the former English champions having issues in the defence department, it not unlikely that he may have been penned down as the next anchor of the Red Devils.
4) İlkay Gündoğan
For his efforts in midfield, Gundogan has become the toast of top clubs in Europe.
But his present club, Borussia Dortmund, are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that one of their star players stays after losing coach Jorgen Klopp to a -yet-to-be-disclosed- clubside.

Unfortunately, Manchester United are looking more like the destination of the talented German star, but the club will be hoping that a recent‘heart-to-heart’ discussion between the player andsporting director Michael Zorc, will persuade the player to remain with the former German champions.
The fact that he is out of contract next summer and has rejected an extension has fueled speculations on the player’s imminent departure.
3) Hugo Lloris
Manchester United may end up being the busiest club in the transfer market with the club being linked to most of the top transfers in Europe.
The Tottenham Hotspurs goalkeeper is seen as a replacement for David De Gea, who is all but certain to move to Real Madrid.

The 34-year old French number one goalie may be tempted to move to the Manchester part of the UK with an opportunity of Champions League football staring him in the face since his club will not be playing in Europe’s elite competition next season.
2) Raheem Sterling
The Liverpool winger was mostly criticised towards the end of last season for failing to put pen to paper on a contract extension with the reds.
Speculations have it that Real Madrid, Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona may be ready to snap up the wonder kid after an outstanding season for the English Premier League side.

His agent has fueled the speculations by saying that even if Sterling was paid £900k weekly, he would not remain with the Brendan Rodgers-led side.
Manchester City are further heating up the speculations with reports that they are tabling a £40m offer before Liverpool. His destination remains the world’s most kept secret.
1) Paul Pogba
Arguably the biggest player presently in the transfer market as things stand, the power-playing French midfielder has become the toast of all the major clubs in Europe.
While many think his transfer to Barcelona is only a matter of weeks away, Juventus coach has asked for the player’s commitment to the Italian club ahead of the next season and this might further quell reports that the anchor man is on his way out of the Serie A winners.

His price tag presently stands at £70m and that may further increase depending on how the transfer market develops in the coming weeks.
